Democrats Want Election Day Until They Win.

The Nevada Secretary Of State Gets To Decide When Election Day Ends, You Get To Decide Who The Secretary Of State Is.

Restoring Confidence In Nevada Elections

A recent poll conducted by The Angle Examiner revealed overwhelming support for President Donald J. Trump's Executive Order aimed at protecting American elections. An impressive 96% of respondents expressed approval, with many commenting, "Absolutely Yes." You’re in good company. A Gallup poll conducted less than two weeks before the 2024 election found that 84% of U.S. adults favored requiring voters to show identification, and 83% supported proof of citizenship for first-time voter registration. Support varied across party lines: 67% of Democrats, 84% of Independents, and 98% of Republicans were in favor of mandating voter ID. The breakdown for proof of citizenship was similarly divided: 66% of Democrats, 84% of Independents, and 96% of Republicans supported the measure.

President Trump's executive order, issued on March 25, 2025, mandates that states not count mail-in ballots received after Election Day—even those postmarked prior to the election, which is permitted in states like Nevada. Additionally, the order requires proof of citizenship for voter registration and threatens to withhold federal funding from states that do not comply. This directive has faced legal challenges from various state officials and advocacy groups.

A coalition of 20 Democrat state attorneys general, including Nevada's Attorney General, filed a lawsuit arguing that the executive order oversteps presidential authority, citing the Constitution’s Elections Clause. The provision mandating the U.S. Attorney General to prioritize prosecuting non-citizen voting and related crimes has been a focal point of contention. The reason for the Democrat resistance is clear and in their own words.

U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly — appointed to the bench by President Bill Clinton— agreed with Democrat plaintiffs that President Donald Trump’s executive order requiring proof of citizenship to vote would hurt the Democratic Party. The Democratic National Committee, the League of United Latin American Citizens and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People sued the Trump administration in the D.C. circuit challenging the order. The Judge blocked Trump’s order directing state officials to require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections and withdrawing federal funding on states not requiring voter ID or not enforcing the provisions of the order. In her 120-page ruling, the judge argued that the Democratic Party showed “substantial likelihood” that requiring proof of citizenship would hurt their voter registration efforts. “First, many of the Democratic Party Plaintiffs have organizational standing to challenge this provision based on its effect on their ability to register new voters as members and supporters of the Democratic Party, which they do in service of their mission of electing Democratic candidates to office throughout the country,” Kollar-Kotelly wrote, according to court documents.

“The [Democratic National Committee], [Democrat Governors Association], [Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee], and [Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee] have each shown that the implementation of [the executive order] would make it more difficult for them to register voters who are likely to support Democratic candidates, forcing them to divert additional resources toward further voter registration efforts,” the judge continued.

Democrats have zealously opposed efforts requiring proof of citizenship to vote. Earlier in April, only four Democrat Congressmen voted for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, that requires proof of citizenship for those registering to vote in a federal election and mandates the removal of non-citizens from voter rolls. The Senate has yet to pass the bill. AP News This year, five states have enacted voter ID requirements, one has mandated proof of citizenship for registration with 25 states considering mandating proof of citizenship, and 40 states with pending voter ID legislation.

Internationally, “India and Brazil tie voter identification to a biometric database, while the United States largely relies on self-attestation for citizenship. Germany and Canada require paper ballots when tabulating votes, while the United States has a patchwork of methods that often lack basic chain-of-custody protections. Denmark and Sweden sensibly limit mail-in voting to those unable to vote in person—and late arrivals do not count—while American elections now feature mass voting by mail, even after Election Day.”

Requiring state officials to enact and enforce these laws restores voter confidence in elections. “Without proper enforcement of Federal laws, illegal voting, discrimination, fraud, and other forms of malfeasance and error dilute the votes of lawful American citizens,” Trump said and that’s why I’m running for Nevada Secretary of State.

Sharron Angle For Nevada Secretary of State

In the late 1980's I started fighting for a good Homeschool law in Nevada. In 2006 I passed the most freeing Homeschool law in the nation. In 2005 I sponsored the first Voter ID bill in Nevada. In 2026 we will pass Voter ID into Constitutional Law. It takes time, persistence, tenacity, and resilience to get good law passed. I want to finish what I started with the Voter ID law by ensuring it is properly implemented and enforced. That's why I'm running for Nevada Secretary of State.

I want to be very clear about how important this race is to ensure Voter I.D. actually happens after 2026. While the people of Nevada voted for Voter I.D. by over 60% in 2024, and may do so again in 2026, the current Secretary of State in Nevada is completely against the idea, 110%. He has publicly rejected President Trump's Executive Order on Voter I.D.and opposed  Nevada's Voter I.D. calling it, "a roadblock."

Without the right Secretary of State in Nevada, Voter I.D. will not be implemented after we worked so hard to make it a reality. I have been involved in the election integrity battle for over 20 years as a Nevada Assemblywoman, as a researcher, as a national speaker, as the producer of a documentary, and even as a victim in court. I have firsthand experience against Harry Reid unlike my opponent who served as an apprentice of Harry Reid and the Reid Machine. I know the opponents of Voter I.D. and they know I am serious about making sure Voter ID is actually implemented after the 2026 election.

In addition to my own experience, I have a strong  group of advisors and professionals who are helping me through this very tough battle that we can win. What will it take? The answer I've been given is $5,000,000 to win the election for Secretary of State in Nevada. Today, my opponent already has $250,000 in his campaign account to stop Voter I.D. in Nevada, and with the national forces aligned behind him, he will have the money to win, unless we work together to defeat him.

Yes, I need your help to do this. I’m looking for Angle’s Angels, and I’d like you to be one of them. You can help us win this battle and change the direction of Nevada and our country. To raise the $5,000,000 it takes just $12 a month until election day in 2026 or $35 each quarter from you, that's 6 times between now and election day in November of 2026. We have to implement Voter I.D. in Nevada after voters approve it again, and I am the most qualified and experienced person to do the job. Is this issue to secure our elections worth the investment to make this happen? I believe it is and I believe you do too, which is why I am in the race, and asking for your help. You can join the race to secure Nevada elections here!
